First, as you may already know, Johnson County Refuse and Recycling (JCRR) will no longer handle recycling material deposited in the red and green containers.
We are working on a solution and will forward information along in a few weeks.
Until then, individual homes will need to: (a) hold on to all recyclable materials until the new recycling carts arrive, (b) place their recyclables into refuse, or (c) take the materials to a local recycling depository like the old North Dodge Hy Vee. See our webpage for Refuse and Recycling for a list of recycling locations.
Second, we are revising our communications system to provide general news and important announcements using three services. Please refer to any one of these to stay informed about the latest happenings.

Postal Mail – We no longer are going to send items in the mail (to save money and trees) except for official materials.
