Welcome to
River Heights
Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills just north of Iowa City, our community is surrounded by the peaceful charm of nature—think lush greenery and serene views—yet we're only minutes away from great schools, shopping, and work. With easy, quick access to Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty, River Heights is perfect for anyone who loves the best of both worlds: the calm and beauty of a natural setting and convenient city living.
The River Heights Property Owners Association keeps everyone connected with up-to-date information and resources to help neighbors build a vibrant, friendly community.
Fireworks! – Join the festivities! Plan to come down to the River Heights Peninsula, or the bottom of Brickwood or Fairview Knoll, to watch fireworks on FRIDAY, JULY 3, at 9:30. The fireworks will launch from the Lower Pond’s dam (between the Lower Pond and the Iowa River). Showtime is no longer than 30 minutes. Also, as a courtesy to our neighbors and their pets, please limit any “unofficial” fireworks and set them off during reasonable hours (per our association’s rules).
ImOn price-for-life offer – If interested, you can now sign up for the special price-for-life deal that ImOn Communications introduced during the May 12 annual meeting. Learn more on the Member Info page.
Next RHPOA Board meeting – Our next board meeting will be the second Tuesday in July (July 14). More details to come, or talk to your Knoll Representative for more information.
Missed pickup for trash, recycling, and yard waste – The RHPOA Board is collecting reports of missed pickups and will report all issues to LRS (our trash service provider). In short, you tell us, we’ll tell LRS. Visit the Report a Missed Pickup webpage for details.
